ticx.com.au is operated by TICX Pty Ltd, an Australian-registered company. We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained therein.
By using ticx.com.au, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this policy.
2. What information we collect
We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, including:
- Name, email address, and phone number when you register, submit an enquiry, or list a TIC share
- Real estate licence number and agency details if you register as a licensed agent
- Bid offer amounts and associated contact details when you submit a bid
- Property details and financial information you choose to provide in a listing or loan enquiry
- Email address when you register for bid alerts on a listing
- Payment information processed by Stripe — we do not store credit card details directly
We also collect certain information automatically when you visit the platform, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URLs, through standard web server logs and analytics tools.
3. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- Forward bid offers to the relevant vendor or their listing agent
- Send bid alert emails to registered users when new bids are submitted on a listing
- Connect loan enquiries with registered TIC-specialist lenders
- Process and manage listing submissions, payments, and renewals
- Respond to contact form enquiries and provide customer support
- Maintain the security and integrity of the platform
- Comply with legal obligations under Australian law
We do not use your personal information for direct marketing without your consent, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Disclosure of your information
We disclose your personal information only in the following circumstances:
- To vendors and agents — when you submit a bid offer, your name, contact details, and bid amount are shared with the vendor or their listed agent
- To lenders — when you submit a loan enquiry, your details may be shared with registered TIC-specialist lenders whose criteria match your requirements
- To service providers — we use trusted third-party services including Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payment processing), and Brevo (email delivery), all bound by confidentiality obligations
- Where required by law — we will disclose information where required by Australian law, court order, or government authority
5. Data storage and security
Your personal information is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase, Inc., hosted on AWS infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc., a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We do not store credit card or payment account details on our systems.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
6. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Act
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Make a complaint if you believe we have breached the APPs
- Opt out of any direct marketing communications
